My name is Darla Smothers-Morant. I am the wife of Leonard Morant and the mother of Daniel, Chirstopher, and Sydney.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Andrews University in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Soon after graduation, I moved to Brooklyn, New York, where I was employed as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicaped for 16 years. While there, I graduated with a MA in Special Education, with an emphasis in learning disabilities. I now reside in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where my husband is pursuing a degree in Theology (Youth Ministries).

This is my fourth semester in the K-12 Educational Administration program. I aspire to combine my knowlede and apply it to becoming a Special Eduation Superviosr/Superintendent. My spare time, if there is any, is spent reading, taking walks with my family, or simply watching an old movie with my husband.
